Welcome to The Grange Group Newsletter – our first issue of what I hope will be an informative and entertaining piece! Far from being just ‘entertaining’, though we think a newsletter is a great way for YOU – our clients – to tell US how we are doing! Let us know what interests you, so we can give it to you; let us know what would help make planning a conference easier, and we'll give you that too!
Each issue will have a number of articles to appeal to the conference planner, as well as some suggestions for leisure activities… maybe a review on a nearby golf course – or perhaps one of the great restaurants or cafes, which now dot Victoria’s charming regional areas…

| Bellinzona Grange, Hepburn Springs: The Phoenix will rise from the ashes... |

On Saturday 15th November, Bellinzona Grange Country Retreat was sadly lost to fire. The property was burnt to the ground in an accidental fire. No one was injured - thanks to the professionalism of the staff, however nothing from the venue was saved. Guests lost all their possessions, and The Grange Group lost one of our longest serving and most popular venues - conference guests and leisure guests alike will remember 'the old Bellinzona' with fondness!
New plans have already been lodged with Hepburn Shire Council - who has agreed that it is in the best interest of the region to expedite approval of those plans! This is not the first time that Bellinzona has been burnt to the ground - the original titleholder also lost Bellinzona to fire in 1901, and rebuilt the following year.
Finally - a big thanks to our staff whose professionalism and cool heads ensured no injuries were sustained. If you are interested in the progress of rebuilding Bellinzona, we will post regular updates to our webpages!

Our latest venue is now open for business!
In true Grange style – we thought we’d open the venue, iron out the ‘new venue wrinkles’ and then invite you ALL to our opening party – email us to register for an invitation to Cleveland’s Grand Winery Opening – early next year. There will be property inspections, accommodation specials (so you can experience our hospitality personally), wine tastings, giveaways and of course the best food in the region!
