Cleveland wines have 8 labels under its brand.
Cleveland 2003 Reserve Red
We blended three grape varieties Shiraz, Mourvedre and Pinot Noir to produce a wine of quality ready to drink but also capable of being cellared for up to 6 years. The Shiraz and Mourvedre were matured in American oak while the Pinot Noir was matured in new French oak. This blending is quite unusual but we achieved a wine of exceptional balance of primary fruit, oak and acidity. The tannins from the Shiraz although firm are subtly masked by the Pinot Noir producing a suppleness not usually associated with a Shiraz.
Cleveland 2005 Pinot Noir
The Cleveland 2005 vintage Pinot Noir is a delicate wine displaying red berry flavours balanced with fine oak tannins giving it a soft and silky finished.
Cleveland Macedon Sunrise
This is the first Rose made from Cleveland Vineyard using Pinot Noir fruit. The harvest date was May 4th, 2005 picked at 12.0 Baume to produce a medium bodied style. The wine’s musty pink hues celebrate a classic rose style. The lifted fruit aroma of cherries is followed by a rounded fruit feel on the palate. This wine will match well with canapés or seafood.
Cleveland 2005 Cabernet Merlot
This is our first release of Cleveland Cabernet Merlot from grapes grown in the famous Heathcote area of Central Victoria. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, aged in French oak. The result is an opulent and refined wine combining red berry flavours and subtle tannins. The wine is ready to enjoy or could be cellared to further enhanced complexity.
Cleveland 2004 Macedon Brut
This ninth release of hand crafted sparkling wine was made using the traditional methode champenoise from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown on our Estate. The wine has been fermented in this bottle, remaining on lees in underground cellars for two years. It has fine effervescence, distinct yeast aromas, creamy complexities and a crisp lingering finish.
Cleveland Brut Rose
This is the limited first release of a Rose style and is blended from 1990 Chardonnay and 1995 Pinot Noir aged Reserve Wines. After two years on lees it shows complex, spicy fruit and strong yeast autolysis characters with a traditional dry finish suiting a wide variety of food.
Cleveland 2006 Unwooded Chardonnay
Our UW Chardonnay undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tank and has no oak influence. The result is a wine that has fresh aromatic fruit characters, and is crisp and refreshing on the palate. This wine is ready to drink now.
Cleveland 2007 Pinot Gris
Our small planting of this alpine variety produced excellent quality fruit. This elegant wine is medium bodied and has well balanced fruit and acid. It is crisp and refreshing, displaying delicate pear and pineapple characteristics. |
